Clovis, NM - March 28, 2007 - Days after tornadoes ripped through eastern New Mexico, many homes are still without electricity, and several low-income families whose homes were destroyed or damaged are in desperate need of help. A relief fund has been setup to accept donations at Wells Fargo branches statewide.

Chavez says his organization only has a limited amount of aid money available. Hundreds of homes were damaged or destroyed by the storm. Many of the victims were insured, but Chavez says there are plenty of others who still need a helping hand, adding Click to hear jchavez2.mp3 .
